Pedigrift House Bed & Breakfast407 Scenic DriveAshland, Oregon 97520 United States 541/482-1888 800-262-4073 http://www.opendoor.com/pedigrift Rate this Inn The Pedigrift House is a charmingly restored Queen Anne Victorian, located in the historic Northwest district of Ashland, Oregon. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, six blocks from the theaters and downtown. Prominently sited, the inn affords panoramic views of the southern Rogue Valley. A huge century-old Monterey cypress dominates the southeast corner of the property. Guests enjoy the terraced gardens and the splendid views of the valley and mountains. Constructed in 1889, the one and one-half story Pedigrift House is an excellent example of the double-bay front variation of the Late Victorian/Queen Anne style. In 1992, it was entered in the National Historic Register. The present owners purchased the property in 1993 and converted this classic structure into an elegant bed and breakfast inn. First-floor rooms have eleven-foot ceilings and are detailed with original trim, picture moldings and baseboards. The nine-foot-high sliding doors into the dining room, double-hung windows and four-panel doors are all originals, including hardware. The guest quarters are inspired by the luxury found in fine European country inns. The rooms are spacious, furnished in a Country French style with an emphasis on simplicity, comfort and privacy. All are air conditioned, featuring modern, private bathrooms with marble showers or bath, and queen size beds.
