Nestled into a hillside overlooking the wide and majestic Kennebec River, this 1790 colonial home is the "haven" you have been looking for.

Located 3 miles outside the "City of Ships," Fairhaven is close to a variety of dining experiences, from the 5 star Robinhood Meetinghouse to the burgers and fries of the 50s, served at Fat Boy's by old time car-hops. Of course, "lobstah" comes right off the boat and into the pot at the Fisherman's Co-op at Five Islands.

If hiking is your pleasure, take a short walk through Fairhaven's 16 acres of woods and meadows or hike at Morse's Mountain Preserve down to the secluded Seawall Beach. Play golf just around the corner at Bath's Championship 18 hole course. Visit one of the 20 museums and historical societies. Find your ancestors at the Patten Free Library's genealogy room.
