In the center of the village, overlooking Sunset Lake and the longest floating bridge east of the Mississippi, is the Green Trails Inn. Our 17-acre estate provides quiet, private, comfortable elegance from which you can enjoy all of Vermont's splendors. Outdoor activities abound right from our front door...but, if what you enjoy the most is no activity at all, the Inn's property provides ample opportunity to discover your own special place for relaxing and rejuvenating. The Green Trails Inn includes two historic buildings: the 1840s Marcus Peck House and an 18th century Guest House that still retains a corner room with original wall stenciling. Our three Common rooms are filled with antique clocks and comfortable lounging areas, providing the perfect setting to socialize with your Innkeepers and other guests or escape with your pillow and favorite book. Our 14 Guest Rooms offer queen, double or twin beds, private or shared baths, fireplaces, jacuzzies and suites, allowing you to choose accommodations that will help make the "real world" a distant memory.
