Our Inn, "Romancing The Past" , is located in Fulton Mo., at 830 Court Street, in a three block, historical district of large well maintained, turn of the century, homes. The original house was built in the 1860's, with a large addition in the 1880's when the street was built in it's current location. Pictures of the house are available online.





The historic homes of Court Street were refereed to in the best selling book King's Row written in 1940 by Henry Bellamann. Ronald Reagan's most notable role was in the hit movie "King's Row" in 1942. The Chamber of Commerce displays memorabilia from the movie and offers a walking tour of the King's Row setting.





Historic Fulton, Missouri, has both Westminister College and William Woods University, and both are within walking distance to Romancing The Past, Bed and Breakfast. The Winston Churchill Memorial and Library is unique to America, as well as the 12th century "Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, England" on the Westminister College campus. William Woods University, with an emphasis on Art, Education, and Business programs, as well as the oldest baccalaureate Equestrian Science program of its kind in the country, is only a scenic walk away. There are several gift shops and antique stores in the nearby downtown area.
