Situated in the heart of Georgetown, the Inn is only one block from the Rice Museum on Front Street and Harborwalk. The house was built in 1880 and resembles "Tara" the home of Scarlett in the movie "Gone With the Wind". Each bedroom is named after a character in the novel and decorated with them in mind. In addition, all modern amenities were added.

Our carriage house suite is located poolside. It can sleep up to six people and is perfect couples traveling together. This private house is decorated in light breezy colors and consists of two bedrooms, large bath with whirlpool tub for two, living room, dining room and full kitchen with washer and dryer. It is perfect for the honeymoon couple looking for complete privacy or for the business traveler looking for longer stays in Georgetown.

Georgetown is a thriving city of 11,000. You can stroll the live oak tunnels of streets, taking a step back in time viewing lovely historic homes, and churches all accented with a profusion of blooming flowers. Narrated tours are available by boat, tram or house drawn carriage. As the "Ghost Capital of the South" intriguing tales await. Our newly refurbished harborwalk welcomes you to stroll or dine at the many cafes on the river front.
