Now this is their 33 year of innkeeping. The crumbling old building has been transformed into a lovely and comfortable inn, keeping the charm of the last century that is so hard to find in the new sophistication of innkeeping. The inn is in the center of 36 private acres, surrounded by hay fields and giant sugar maples. There is a large open porch that wraps around the inn, with many comfortable rocking chairs, where guests sit and view the hay fields unchanged in many years, feel the welcome breeze, watch the long unpaved winding drive up to the inn, edged with maples. Or you might see an occasional car drive by along the dirt road at the bottom of the field. Help yourself to apples from the orchard, enjoy the herbs from Ramonas garden in the classic dishes she prepares. Ramona will tell you she just does good food, but it ranges from the classic French to the earthy Mexican, she is a true gourmet, as you will discover. There is a cozy corner pub, with a beautiful well stocked bar. In summer the front porch is the perfect place to sip a cocktail before dinner. In winter, the library in front of the fire is special. This is a real country inn, come into the kitchen to say hello.
