Robyn and Wolfgang Wendt. Hospitality and good food. They are one and the same at Rhythm of the Sea Seaside Inn. Robyn, for Auckland, New Zealand, and Wolfgang, from Berlin, Germany, met and married at Wolf's ski lodge in Colorado. Wolfgang is a European trained chef who is equally at home on a ski slope, his sailboat, or in the kitchen. So from Colorado to Cape May we Wendt! Our Craftsman-style Inn, Circa 1915, includes seven spacious guest rooms, a three-room suite, and a self contained carriage house. In keeping with its Arts and Crafts Movement aesthetic, the entire Inn is decorated with L. & J.G. Stickley furniture and Mission-style accessories. With the ocean as our front yard we provide fragrant breezes as well as a wealth of seaside activities. Historic Cape May, within easy strolling distance, offers wonderful dining, an array of interesting shops, horse drawn carriage rides, Victorian house tours, and much more. The area's diverse activities include fishing, whate, dolphin and bird watching, tennis, golf, or just gazing at the sunset. We invite you to come savor our sumptuous meals, peaceful privacy and genuetlichkeit with old friends and new.
