Weathervane Inn

The Weathervane Inn began as a farmhouse in 1785 with the original fireplace serving for both heating and cooking as it boasts a beehive bake oven, rarely seen today, but a necessity in bygone days. As with many New England homes, there have been many additions to the farmhouse. In 1835 the Greek revival high-ceilinged addition was completed. Its wide board floors and spectacular mouldings are unique reminders of the skill of long-ago craftsmen.

The Inn has been included in the National Register of Historic Places.
