Queen Anne Victorian, listed as a "Landmark" on the National Historic Register. Intimate...Charming...Romantic. Step back into a nostalgic time when lace, antiques and afternoon tea were an everyday necessity. The inn is named for the stained and jeweled glass turret that encases the oak spiraling staircase. Other features in the mansion include the "Den Stone Fireplace", built of rocks and semi-precious stones from every state in the Union, as of 1898. This room also includes a round turret, dark wood wainscoting, beams and maple flooring. Four parlors with beautiful woodwork, ornate fireplaces, antiques, and period Victorian decor. Enjoy sipping tea or lemonade on our 2 rubble-stone verandas, while gazing at the beautiful historic homes of the area, and enjoying the smell of the sea! Seven bed chambers, each named and decorated after a "gemstone",from The Jeweled Turret theme. Queen, double or twin: 4 poster and iron and brass beds with luxurious linens, antiques, and private baths through-out! Full gourmet breakfast served in our formal oak dining room. Located in heart of historic district, stroll to shops, restaurants, waterfront and city parks.
