Meyer House is named for the several generations of the Meyer's family who have made this large Victorian Circa 1885 their home. Located on top of a mountain in the Potomac Highlands Region of West Virginia, Meyer House is situated in the middle of the Allegheny Plateau, convenient to numerous nearby points of interest, in an area that is just waiting for you to come, explore and enjoy.





The history of this grand Victorian home began with the founding of Davis (the town where this home is located), which was established by Henry Gassaway Davis, an 18th Century American Timber and Railroad baron. The Chamberlain family, present owners of Meyer House, welcome you into their charming home which still holds most of its originality and Victorian flair. Meyer House is open year-round offering three spacious guest rooms, each with private baths, a full country breakfast with warm beverages available anytime, and a smoke-free environment.
