Cajun Country Cottages, located in Breaux Bridge, LA, in a quiet country setting offers charming, historical cottages situated around a private 5 acre stocked fishing lake. The property was once the site of the old Magenta plantation. Enjoy this step back in time to a simpler lifestyle as you swing on our porch swings, canoe and fish in the lake, or just simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful haven. Perhaps you'll choose to stay in "Schoolhouse", complete with 12 foot ceilings and an American theme. This building was once a one-room schoolhouse. You may also choose to stay in our acadian-style cottage, complete with loft bedroom, tucked away against the lake with a private pier. All of our cottages are so unique and delightfully decorated. They have full kitchens, sitting rooms with gas log fireplaces, and queen-sized beds. Come enjoy true southern hospitality in Cajun Country!
