Fairmount Plantation Bed and Breakfast, circa 1869, is located in the Red River Valley in the Crossroads of Louisiana, between Alexandria and Natchitoches. It is a working cotton plantation situated among century-old pecan trees. We serve foods that typify Louisiana cuisine - from the extravagance of Creole, to pungent, one-pot Cajun meals. The best of two worlds, Fairmount Plantation combines the peace and tranquility of plantation lodging (and a glimpse of an alligator from time to time) within close proximity to city conveniences. We are 15 minutes away from the Alexandria International Airport.
