The I. W. Goodner House, built between 1881 and 1884 in Dakota Territory, is one of Pierre's oldest homes. The home radiates a bygone era with its hardwood floors, stained glass windows and original features that just aren't part of modern day structures. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Inn is located 1 1/2 blocks west of the State Capitol and is within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the Missouri River.

	Special vacation package being offered from April 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002. Two nights stay at the bed & breakfast, which includes a full breakfast each morning, $30 gift certificate for dining in the historic St. Charles Hotel, and 2 tickets to the S.D. Cultural Heritage Center - all for $155.00 plus applicable sales tax.
