Our friendly ALMOST HOME B&B is in a large English Tudor style home, situated in the quiet neighbourhood of NE Winnipeg. A well-appointed living room, or the year round sun room, awaits you for relaxed reading. The family room’s wood fireplace is a fun place to cozy up and watch TV/movies, or to sample our large and varied CD collection.

Breakfast is available in the formal dining room, or out on the expansive poolside deck. The "West Wing" (queen-size) is tastefully decorated and includes a wide variety of novels and magazines. The "South Side" has two cozy super-single beds. Downtown is 15 minutes away by public transit.

Manitoba’s biggest shopping/casino area is only minutes away by car. We have ready access to MB’s finest golf courses (private/public), beaches, historic sites (lower Fort Garry), many parks, and activities ranging from horse-back riding to lawn bowling, from paddle boats to power walking trails along Bunn’s Creek, and cross-country skiing. Entertainment features include the historical "FORKS" with superb dining & shopping, professional Goldeye baseball and Blue Bomber football, Rainbow Stage musicals, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and the world famous Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
