Ashlea House is a registered Heritage property (circa 1886) and Victorian mansion restored to its original grandeur. A Widow's Walk on top of the house offers a panoramic view of the historic harbour and surrounding area.

All four guest rooms have private 4-piece baths. Guest lounges abound: two parlours on the first floor, a lounge on the third floor complete with DVD player and a selection of popular movies and television shows, a back deck on the third floor and a reading nook in the Widow's Walk.

Guests gather together at 8:30 am at the grand 14-foot long dining table to enjoy a hot, country-style breakfast worthy of a boarding-house reach (seconds are encourage but not mandatory!)

A three and one-half year old Duck Tolling Retriever named Dory is the B&B mascot.
