The Angel’s Lair has been lovingly refurbished by its owners, Dan & Linda VanPELT, this Victorian home was originally built in 1883 for Judge Thomas E. Webster, the first Probate Judge from Bay City.





After removing the Judge’s card room in the attic on the 3rd floor, Dan & Linda added seven sky lights to “Open up the Heavens” and create one of the most unique living spaces in the area. Three of the rooms are named after the Archangels: Gabriel, Raphael and Michael. You can see the 10-foot angel on the rooftop from the hot-air whirlpool tub in the MacKenzie Room.
