At Casitas de Gila, early risers enjoying their morning cup of coffee on their portal may see cardinals, jays, towhees and hummingbirds in the pines around the Casitas, or catch a glimpse of the big horn sheep that are frequent visitors to the cliffs above Bear Creek. As you watch the sun rise over a nearby mountain ridge, you will be entranced by the sounds of silence ... what an incredible feeling when you realize that it's so quiet here, you can hear each individual flap of a raven's wings as it arcs gracefully overhead. In the evening, watch the moon rise over Turtle Rock from the hot tub, then curl up with a book in your cozy Casita.
